Chef Amber Williams
Meet Chef Amber Williams – a Dallas native raised on the rich blend of Texas and Louisiana culture that inspired her passion for food and service.
Amber’s experience with food insecurity and food deserts in her youth drives her dedication to helping communities facing similar challenges. Through her social enterprise, Surviving the Food Desert Project, she offers sustainable food and lifestyle education, programming, and products. In November 2023, she released “Surviving The Food Desert Cookbook & Resource Guide,” addressing the need for culinary education to combat food inequity.
Featured on local and national media, including Food Network, USA Today, and Essence Magazine, Chef Amber now seeks partnerships to bridge access to healthy, sustainable food and empower communities to embrace fresh, nutritious dining. Chef Amber’s mission centers on creating unforgettable culinary experiences and advocating for resilience and resourcefulness toward an elevated, healthy lifestyle.
